Oregon's first game of their big season in Autzen Stadium vs South Dakota, started off fast and furious. Marcus Mariota threw three touchdown passes in the first half. The freshman Royce Freeman scored two rushing touchdowns in his first game as a Duck. The
offense looked great! They scored fast, (fastest scoring drive was the three plays in the beginning). The
defense was a little slow, but they picked it up fast during the game. The Ducks look great for the season, and I still think that the Ducks will make it to the playoffs.
The Ducks will have a big test next week vs Michigan State. The Ducks are 11 point favorites against the Spartans. I will have a full preview on Friday for perhaps the biggest pre-conference game in the nation. I will also have a review of the Spartans team and what we will have to look out for next Saturday.
